Duke Homes was formed in mid-2009 with a focus on acquiring semi-custom and custom home lots in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. With strong credit and an excellent track record, the Principals of Duke Homes aggressively purchased “Class A” residential lots for future construction. With extensive home building and lot development experience, Duke Homes capitalized on the extreme devaluation that occurred in the residential lot market. With a lower cost basis on the lots it owns, Duke Homes has the ability to provide its customers with a beautiful home at a price that beats the competition. The company has purchased more than 26 different subdivisions in the last few years. Accumulating over 1,000 lots to date, Duke continues to look for opportunities in the residential real estate market. Through years of relationship building in the industry, Duke has assembled a team of master craftsman with in-depth experience in home building, construction and marketing.

 

Capitalizing on the success of Duke Homes and understanding the rapid absorption of residential lots, Crown Holdings Group created the new entity Duke Land Group, LLC in 2012. With over $100 million to reinvest in the new venture, Duke Land Group is actively seeking tracts of land for redevelopment. Currently, Duke Land Group is in the process of rezoning and redeveloping two mixed use master community sites. One site is located in the heart of Dunwoody and the other is located in the City of Roswell and consists of 109 acres at 400 and Holcomb Bridge Road. Together these projects will deploy over $2 billion and contain more than 5 million square feet of mixed use urban development. Duke Land Group is also working to rezone and redevelop several land tracts in Forsyth County and in the cities of Woodstock, Alpharetta and Milton.
